Get Started. The Essentials
You can access the virtual platform by going to https://posummit.com/. We will email you your login credentials 24 hours before the Summit. From there, all you will need to experience the summit is a wifi connection and laptop or desktop computer.
We recommend that you use Chrome, Safari or Firefox.
In order to get access to all benefits of the platform please allow permissions including camera, microphone, sound, notifications and cookies (if prompted).
As an attendee, simply login using the email address used when registering for the event.
As a sponsor booth representative, please use the login credentials created during the booth customization process. If you cannot find your login credentials, please email us at eventoperations@generisgp.com and a member of our team will reach out to you immediately.
You can find the Virtual Pharma Outsourcing Session Schedule in the navigation bar within the virtual platform. To access the schedule, follow these steps:
- Log in to the virtual platform https://posummit.com/
- Click “Sessions” in the navigation bar
- Click the center screen to view the session schedule
The Virtual Pharma Outsourcing Summit will operate in Eastern Daylight Time (UTC - 4). Our sessions will begin at 10:55 am each day. Day 3 roundtables begin at 10:10 am.
You will be able to network and connect with attendees from your computer anywhere in the world, 24/7 via the Networking tab.
If you are logged into the virtual platform, you can reach one of our Generis Staff Directly using the live Generis Support chat box. To access the Generis Support chat box, follow these steps:
- Log in to the virtual platform https://posummit.com/
- Click “Information Desk” in the navigation bar or the “Information Desk” in the lobby
- Click the “Client Concierge” center screen to open up a Generis Support Chat
Agenda and Sessions
You can access all of our world-class sessions from the virtual platform. Once you log in, all sessions are available through the session agenda. To access these “Sessions”, follow these steps:
- Select the “Sessions” tab in the navigation bar of the virtual platform
- Click “Sessions” in the navigation bar
- Click the center screen to view the session schedule
- Here you will find the Virtual Pharma Outsourcing Summit Schedule for each day
- Scroll down to see the breadth of speakers joining us for a mix of live and pre-recorded presentations
- When a video is set to release, a “Play” button will appear on the right side of the speaker’s session.
- Click the “Play” button to begin watching the session.
- The presentation will appear in a new tab in your web browser.
During the speaker's presentation, the speaker will be online answering questions in real time using the Q&A text-based chat box. Feel free to post a question in the chat box any time while the session is taking place.
We recommend keeping your question clear and concise. Kindly use the chat-box only for questions that pertain directly to the speaker's presentation.
We encourage you to watch all sessions as they go live. You’ll be able to directly interact with other attendees. You will get access to recorded sessions post summit.
We offer world-class round table sessions that are informal discussions guided by a moderator along the roundtable theme. Meet with fellow industry leaders to engage in targeted conversations during the lunch hour as well as in the morning of Day 3 at 10:15am.
Seating in roundtable discussions is limited. To inquire on availability, please reach out to: eventoperations@generisgp.com.
Make Connections
The “Networking Lounge” is the place to be for networking and mingling with other attendees. Simply enter the “Networking Lounge” chat room and start making connections in the public chat. If you want to privately message a fellow attendee, click on their name on the right hand side of the screen and select the “Chat Now” button to create a private direct message.
Simply select on the “Networking” tab in the navigation bar in the virtual platform. A second tab will open up in your window, housing the networking chat tool. Enter into the various exhibitor booth chats and direct message booth reps in private messages by clicking on their name on the right hand side of your screen. Simply select the “Chat Now” button to get started!
The virtual summit is a two screen experience, please ensure you have both the “Networking” tab and virtual platform open throughout the conference to ensure you are not missing out on important notifications, prize giveaways and more!
The chat room function of the platform is a great tool to be used during scheduled networking breaks throughout the three days of the Summit but can be accessed 24/7 through the duration of the Summit.
For the most enjoyable and productive experience, refrain from using the networking tool during scheduled session times. The most optimal time to engage in the networking chat room is during the scheduled networking breaks when all attendees have left the session rooms.
Video chat is recommended to engage in a safe “face-to-face” manner to mimic the live event conference experience.
We recommend initiating conversations through text first prior to a video call.
If you have documents to share, we recommend sending a link to the information you wish to discuss before you begin your video call.
We recommend diversifying in meetings to meet with different sponsors of interest than your colleague. At this time the platform does not support having multiple attendees from different IP addresses entering the same private meeting.
Inappropriate behaviour is unacceptable at any event, online or in-person. The Virtual Summit is a safe place designed for executives and professionals to connect. Our commitment to delivering world class content and connecting business ideas with relationship opportunities is the Generis experience.

Explore
The “Exhibition Hall” can be found through the use of the navigation bar within the virtual platform or can be selected from the Lobby.
- Scroll the through the Exhibitor Booths by hovering over the arrows on the left and right hand side of your screen OR scroll through the “Exhibitor’s Index” alphabetically, located on the bottom left of your screen.
- Click on each Exhibitor Booth to learn more about each Exhibitor
- When in the Exhibitor Booths, click “Chat” to join a group-discussion and/or click on a specific username to chat with a booth representative.
The “Digital Briefcase” can be found in the navigation bar in the virtual platform. Save important documents in your “Digital Briefcase” to review and revisit later!!
To save items to your “Digital Briefcase”, follow these steps:
- Open the virtual platform in a web browser https://posummit.com/ and log in.
- Select the “Exhibition Hall” tab in the navigation bar
- Enter any booth of your choosing
- Browse through the exhibitors documents and videos
- To save a document click “+Digital Briefcase” button found directly beside the document
Select the “Digital Briefcase” tab in the main navigation toolbar in the virtual platform. Email your saved documents to yourself and colleagues for retrieval.
The “Leaderboard” is an exciting new feature in the Virtual Summit. Earn points from engaging with exhibitor booths, attending live sessions and more!
Check your ranking against other attendees here and see who can earn the most points.
To view the “Leaderboard”, follow these steps:
- Enter the virtual platform and log in.
- Select the “Leaderboard” tab in the navigation bar
Winners will be announced by 2:30 pm EST on November 6th and will be contacted by our Event Operations team to arrange the shipping of your prize.
Troubleshooting
To log in to the virtual platform, follow these steps:
- Open the virtual platform in a web browser https://posummit.com/
- As an attendee, simply login using the email address used when registering for the event.
- As a sponsor booth representative, please use the login credentials created during the booth customization process.
Step 1: Check settings & restart
- Make sure Wi-Fi is on. Then turn it off and on again to reconnect.
- Make sure Airplane mode is off. Then turn it on and off again to reconnect.
- Restart your computer
Step 2: Find the problem type
- Try connecting to the Wi-Fi network with another device like a smartphone or tablet. If other devices can join the network, the problem is most likely with your computer.
- If your computer shows a full Wi-Fi symbol and connects to the Wi-Fi network, but you still have no internet, the problem is most likely with your internet connection.
Step 3: Solutions to try
- Slow connection? Move to another room, closer to your router for a stronger connection.
- Delete your Wi-Fi network from your device and re-add.
- Restart your router or modem.
- Reset your network settings
Step 4: Still can’t connect?
